As the only legal firm in Spain Accom Consulting has created a special Buyers Package that offers a complete solution to all issues involved in the purchase of a property in Spain. Right from the initial stage of your search you will receive our full assistance including ongoing legal and investment advice as well as assistance with practical matters and help finding the right property.

This service is a complete and secure solution to all people who are thinking about purchasing a property in Spain - no matter the type of property, the location in Spain or the amount you are planning to invest we will be able to help you.

Why Use Our Service
Buying a property in Spain is a complicated process with a lot of legal peculiarities and practical and bureaucratic matters that needs professional assistance.
In Accom we will make sure that the whole process goes smooth and that you during all stages of the purchase are receiving full assistance with both legal and general matters.

Furthermore we only charge the same amount for our complete Buyers Package as a lawyer charge for the legal advice involved with closing the purchase.
This means that for the same amount as a standard legal firm charges in Spain you will get our comprehensive legal advice as well as unbiased investment and general advice and right from the initial phase of your search.

Services Included in Accom's Buyers Package

  • Legal advice from question answering and an initial legal briefing to our full assistance with preparing and closing a purchase.
  • Investment and Financial advice including help getting a mortgage, buying currency and information about investing in the property sector in Spain.
  • General information and advice about buying a property, including our guide about buying a property in Spain.
  • List of properties available according to your needs and from different constructors, estate agents or private people selling a property.
  • Help planning an inspection trip to visit properties in Spain, we can arrange everything - hotel, airport transfer, visits to a requested number of properties etc..
  • Personal assistance and advice from one of our experienced team members during your inspection trip to Spain. If requested we can send a team member who will assist you during the visits to different properties or plots and this how give you unbiased advice.
  • We can also arrange for a building inspector, architect or other professionals to go through the property before the purchase.

A Typical Accom Client

Stage One
Before taking off to Spain our clients normally have some knowledge (but have also heard stories and rumours) about purchasing and investing in the property sector in Spain. At this stage we will answer your initial questions and make sure that you don't get any major surprises (i.e. about price level, availability, investment value, etc.) when you arrive to Spain.
We also have a number of guides about purchasing in Spain, which we send to our clients and we can provide you with information about properties for sale from different estate agents, private people or constructors in Spain.
If you need help to arrange the inspection trip and the visits to different properties we will also assist you in this matter.

Stage Two
Upon your arrival to Spain we will meet you to give you an initial briefing about legal, financial and practical issues involved with the purchase.
During your inspection trip you will also have one of our agents at your disposal that can provide you with unbiased advice while you are out visiting properties.

Stage Three
If you find a property you will like to purchase we will make sure that there are no barriers to go on with the purchase before you sign any binding contract (i.e. outstanding debt on the property, that the owner has the right to sell, arranging an inspection of the property, confirmation from the bank, etc.). If everything is in order we will go through or prepare the initial private contract and help you get ready the 10% reservation fee.
In the time span between signing the private contract and the public contract with the notary (la escritura) we can help you with financial and practical matters such as the exchange of currency, opening a bank account in Spain or getting a NIE number.

Stage Four
After you have signed with the notary there are a lot of practical matters that needs to be taken care of such payment of transfer/VAT taxes, changing water/gas/electricity bills, getting a telephone installed etc., which we also will arrange.
